  • Program Overview

    In the Software and Web Developer diploma program, students learn the coding languages that every web developer needs to know: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Students then broaden their skill set with a strong foundation in SQL, C#, and the .NET Framework that will lead to additional opportunities in the world of software development.

    Throughout the program, students gain hands-on experience with a range of software development projects that build in complexity as students add programming skills and languages to their toolkit.

     

    Graduates of the program will be able to:

    This program provides students with the necessary skill and knowledge to plan, install, and provide routine control over and manage exceptional situations in relation to quality communications network services in an information system. It provides in-depth knowledge of evaluating communications hardware, software, and transmission service alternatives against changing business requirements, maintaining links with network suppliers, monitoring network performance, providing support for systems, localizing and rectifying faults in networks and handling non-routine user/customer problems, and providing expertise and practical assistance in delivering service that complies with statutory and other standards, as well as strategic and tactical plans.

    The Business Administration diploma program is designed to prepare students for the demands of today’s fast-paced business environments. Its objective is to expose students to a vast array of business knowledge, management and administration skills, and practical tools that will assist them in addressing situations that arise within a business-related career.     Anyone planning to enter the accounting or payroll fields must have good computer skills and be familiar with computerized accounting and automated payroll systems. This program provides graduates with the necessary skills to maintain complete sets of books, keep records of accounts, verify the procedures used for recording financial transactions, and provide personal bookkeeping services. It also provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to perform payroll administrative responsibilities in the payroll department. The student will write the Canadian Payroll Association’s (CPA) Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) exams, a requirement for the PCP certification.     Program Highlights

    The Veterinary Office Assistant performs many of the same or similar duties as a regular Medical Office Assistant. While the patients look and act a bit different, they basically have the same body systems and require similar treatment for injuries and illnesses. Consequently by adding the Veterinary Office Assistant specialty modules to the core Medical Office Assistant program, graduates have the choice of working in a Veterinary setting or working in a medical clinic thus creating wider employment opportunities.
