Before You Apply
How long is the program?
46 weeks for the Remote option (with an 8-week internship), or 32 weeks for the Self-Study option (no internship).
What’s the difference between the two learning options?
Remote Classes are live, instructor-led, and include the internship. Self-Study is a structured-yet-flexible online format without an internship component.
What certification do I earn?
Eligibility to write the Health Information–Certified Associate (HICA) exam through CHIMA, a nationally recognized credential.
Admission requirements?
OSSD or equivalent, or 18+ with a passing Wonderlic score (14).
