Academy of Learning’s Community Service Worker diploma program prepares you to support individuals and families navigating complex life situations. You’ll build an understanding of mental health and addictions, family dynamics and at-risk populations, along with practical skills in communication, case management and ethical decision-making — all applied through a hands-on field placement in a real community setting.
Graduates move into roles at community agencies, residential care facilities, youth centres and outreach programs, supporting people one-on-one, helping coordinate access to services and connecting individuals with housing, community programs and other supports.
