Medical Office Assistant
Medical office assistants play an important role in keeping healthcare environments organized and running smoothly. They help ensure that daily operations stay on track, supporting both patients and healthcare professionals in a busy clinical setting.
Academy of Learning’s Medical Office Assistant diploma program is designed to help you build the administrative and clinical support skills used in medical offices and healthcare settings. You’ll also develop an understanding of how medical offices operate, including the systems and processes used to manage information and support patient care, so you can work with accuracy and confidence in a professional environment.
You’ll also develop an understanding of medical terminology and office systems used in healthcare environments, helping you work with accuracy and confidence. You’ll apply what you’ve learned during a hands-on field placement, giving you the opportunity to get real-world experience and see first-hand how a medical office operates.
Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared to move into roles in medical offices, clinics and other healthcare settings. You might be welcoming patients, coordinating communication between staff, assisting with documentation or helping ensure information is accurate and up to date within a healthcare team.
