PC Support Technician
Computer systems are part of almost every workplace, and when something goes wrong, it needs to be fixed quickly. PC support technicians help keep systems running by diagnosing problems, resolving technical issues and ensuring users stay connected and productive.
Academy of Learning’s PC Support Technician diploma program helps you build the technical skills used to support and maintain computer systems. You’ll learn how to install and configure hardware and software, resolve common technical issues and support users by responding to technical problems and helping them navigate systems across a range of devices and environments.
You’ll also develop practical skills in operating systems, networking fundamentals and system maintenance, along with an understanding of how to diagnose and resolve technical problems as they arise. Through hands-on activities and a field placement, you’ll gain experience working with the tools and processes used in real IT support roles, while building the knowledge needed to prepare for the CompTIA A+ certification exam.
Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared to move into roles in technical support across a variety of industries. You might be identifying and fixing system issues, assisting users with technical questions or helping keep computer systems running smoothly so organizations can continue operating without interruption.
